This tutorial is aimed at those who are new to Flash Video, are thinking of getting into it, or are just plain scared of it because, well, it’s video and video’s complicated..

    great tut. a big fan of flash video. this explains a lot of the basics of Flash Video AS3. i like the shots of northern Ontario; i’m from Thunder Bay. thanks for the contribution Tom!

      Not sure what you mean, all videos should be streaming without hitch (?)

      Try downloading them if your connection is having trouble.

    This was FANTASTIC for someone like me (newbie). THANK YOU! However, I was trying to combine the techniques from FLVplayback Component above with the Play Videos in Sequence tip (December 16). I cannot figure out what AS3 code I must need to add to make it work properly. My work around has been to combine all of my .mov files before converting to FLV. It works but I am losing definition in my type. Is there someone who might point me to the right tutorial or clue me in?

    Thanks. I have been struggling with this project for forever.
