In this video I will cover two phones from a hardware perspective, the Nexus One running Android 2.2 and the HTC EVO running 2.1.

Screencast: Nexus One vs. HTC Evo

Both phones are great for Flash development but I prefer the larger, more responsive screen of the HTC EVO over the Nexus One. Unfortunately the Nexus One is the only phone out right now with Android 2.2 running so if you want to use some of the new Camera features in Air for Android you will have to use a Nexus One.

Just wanted to make a small addition here, the EVO now has Android 2.2 and the Nexus One is now Google’s dev phone. I’ll try to get my hands on a few more high end Android phones to keep comparing them.

Why one of these 2 and not the Samsung Galaxy S ?

I believe that’s because the Samsung Galaxy S doesn’t run Android. And the Samsung Galaxy S is a type of phone, like the HTC Evo is an Android phone. And because only the Evo and the Nexus One have flash player at the moment.
