Gotta Love Flash!! Plus, I realized the recent release of Flash 10.2 runs way faster than 10.1!
Adobe is doing a great Job in optimizing, they need to keep innovating and keep ahead.
Currently, to install an android app made from flash requires a separate download of the air runtime and installation, then you have to go back and download orignal app and install that.
It is pretty impossible to sell this option to my clients. They are going with other platforms like corona, titanium or going native.
@mark i havent had this problem? If i download and install an app that requires AIR to run, it automatically downloads the AIR runtime then automatically the app i wanted? and the AIR runtime download is a once-off download.
Also on iOS the AIR runtime is packaged with the app, so no second download is necessary.
I’m guessing in the future though the AIR runtime will come bundled with the android OS, just as it is on the blackberry playbook.
