Plenty has been happening in the world of Tuts+ Premium lately, so let’s keep the ball rolling with another cracking tutorial exclusively available to Premium members. Here’s a brilliantly entertaining AS3 game tut, courtesy of Carlos Yanez.
Take a look at (and play around with) the final result we will be working towards:
This Premium Tutorial is Packed with Design and Development Tips
Using the Flash Tools we’ll create good looking graphics that will be powered by several ActionScript 3 classes like MouseCursor, Tween Nano, Sprite, Timers and other Events.
The user will be able to input a player’s name and destroy a predefined number of dartboards before the game ends.

Ah Guys! Can you honestly be serious? How is this worthy of being a Premium Member Tut. I am not pleased. I mean most of your past tutorials for the general public were a lot better that this. Or perhaps i am missing something. What qualifies a Tut to be only for Premium?
Have you downloaded it?
This tutorial goes through the design and development of an entire game, there’s no way all the information available here can be squeezed into a standard 20 step tut! Premium tutorials are about going the extra mile in terms of content, quality and usefulness – which is exactly what this post does.
When you can earn money using skills you learn from Premium, surely that warrants a mere $9 per month?
Still, good to know you’ve been enjoying recent content on the site :P
I totally agree with Ian !

At the end i couldn’t get this tutorial to work, it is not very clear about how to link the code. i have went step by step through this, i thought id learn flash by doing this but didnt!
i am going to give it 1 more try n will send a link with the results!!
