While in hindsight, this seems relatively simple (compared to some of the flash effects out there), I really appreciate Tom taking the time to put this together. For someone like me, that has the graphics background, but has no idea on how to even begin with ActionScript, this piece was invaluable. Also the correct program of adobe to create vectors isnt the Fireworks, but the Illustrator, but not in this case that could be done only in flash. What i want to say is: if you really want to help beginners, teach the correct way, so they wont always use about 2 or 3 programs to create something really easy in flash.
