Every type of TLF text in Flash — Read Only, Selectable, and Editable — supports hyperlinks. All it takes to add a link in a text container is to type in your text, select a few words, and enter the desired URL into the Properties panel. Optionally, you can enter a target as well.

It should come as no surprise that you can use TLF text as a button to kick off an event in your movie. For example, you could have a text block on the stage that talks about a visit to Times Square in New York, and when the user clicks the phrase Times Square, a photo appears on the stage.
