It’s Blog Action Day 2009 and this year sees Climate Change as the hot topic. To kick off the Flashtuts+ contribution I thought I’d roundup a few Flash websites with a Climate Change theme.
Specifically, I’ve focused on cars. The motor industry hasn’t always been the most environmentally friendly sector, but it seems car manufacturers are trying to change. And they’re using Rich Internet features to show us..
This post is part of Blog Action Day 2009, a worldwide initiative started by Envato founders Collis and Cyan Ta’eed, now being run by Change.org. Blog Action Day exists to change the conversation on the web for one day by uniting thousands of bloggers around one important issue – this year, Climate Change. It’s not too late to register your blog and participate.

Change Perspective: Saab
Great site for Saab. It’s not 100% dedicated to the environment or climate change, but delve deeper and you’ll find a nice presentation about bio fuels and Saab’s take on alternative energy sources.
-

Fortum Energy
“Fortum participates in making rechargeable electric cars available and developing the necessary infrastructure. This is one of our ways of controlling climate change and supporting current and future generations.”
-

Reva
“Une technologie 100% électrique”. Yes that’s all very well, but more importantly, this puppy’s available in Tiger, Leopard and Zebra print. Sign me up!

Honda Green Machine
Alright, I’ll be honest, this game had me baffled. I found I’d turned into a dog, with a healthy energy level, but a lousy jump level (?) In any case, there’s plenty of green, talk of the environment, car emissions and Charlie Brown. I really should brush up on my Japanese..
-

2010 Ford Fusion
Another slick Flash site to show off Ford’s technological advances with the 2010 Fusion. The most notable graphic on the Fusion’s dash display is the Efficiency Forest. This is a forest of leaves which grows whilst you’re driving responsibly! Keep that pedal from the metal and you’ll be rewarded with glorious shrubbery in you car..

Lexus Hybrid
My Russian is apparently just as useless as my Japanese, so don’t ask me what the voice over was telling me. Still, plenty of impressive graphics and animation to put across the benefits of Lexus’ Hybrid vehicle.
-

2010 Toyota Prius
Another car manufacturer focusing on fuel economy, this time with the infamous Prius battery to back it up. Toyota presents the 2010 Prius with truckloads of Flash animation on this promotional mini site.

Fit
Fit is efficient. Fit go green. Honda say it themselves. Even if you don’t rush to the showroom to buy one, visit the site and paint flowers all over the floor.

Volkswagen 2028
“Volkswagen gives us a glimpse of the future with their solid and sustainable concepts and visions for the next generation.”
Thanks to www.thefwa.com for putting this one my way..

Global warming has been proven to be false.
Take a look that http://www.soyrenovable.es (spanish)
You are supposed to lose at least 4 pounds in the first four weeks. If that does not happen, make sure you talk to your health care provider about the treatment options you have. Continue taking Meridia even if the process of weight loss stopped to maintain it. Drowsiness is one of the side effects reported by patients taking Meridia
